Reinvention™ is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Associate Director of Sales & Business Development to lead new customer acquisition and activation efforts with the trade. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal player-coach role as we grow sales from new and existing interior design professionals through our e-commerce marketplace. 

You will develop and implement strategies to acquire new trade customers. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with a team of account executives who support existing partnerships with our community and warm leads.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, experience managing and leading a sales team, and success developing and executing sales strategies to meet revenue and new customer acquisition goals. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers from the trade, including Capital Market professionals.
  • Execute our sales strategy within your own book of business and with new leads to increase new user registration and activate new customers. 
  • Drive customer activation and engagement by ensuring new clients are effectively onboarded and educated on The Reinvention’s platform as a go-to sourcing and shopping destination for investment or capital market buy-sell deals.
  • Work performing weekly: Deep Research, Sales Purchase Agreements, IMFPA, Letter of Exclusivity, Letter of Requests.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, leveraging these connections to expand The Reinvention’s market presence.
  • Partner closely with the our Directors to align on key priorities, implementation plans and to measure success against KPIs and revenue targets. 
  • Collaborate with a team of account executives on processes to hand off new leads for relationship management and growth. 
  • Act as a player-coach, helping to define the overall sales pitch of our trade program and holding trainings to ensure our sales teams have the tools and resources to meet goals and grow as sales professionals. 
  • Utilize data and customer insights to inform decision-making and partner with additional stakeholders across the business. 


  • * 6 plus years of B2B sales experience and at least 2 years managing a sales team. 
  • * Experience working with a CRM and using data and analytics to inform decision-making. 
  • * Strong written and verbal communication skills and a passion for relationship-building. Professional mannerisms and speaking voice, usually seen with working w HNWI ($30M+)
  • * A self-starter with a positive and collaborative attitude, eager to work at fast-paced start-up. 

Previous experience with our Directors or REINVENTION is not required, but a passion and interest in HNWI, Professional business sales, Capital Markets is!
